Kasegaon Education Society is one of the leading educational organizations in the Western Maharashtra. It was established in 1945 by Late Shri. Rajarambapu Patil, the leading statesman. Considering the need of time, the Society focused its attention on taking the education to the threshold of the rural masses. The Society has been conferred with prestigious award like ‘Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Dalitmitra Puraskar’, ‘State award for Educational Institutes’. Certificates of appreciation have been also awarded to the Society by C-DAC & MKCL for its exemplary contribution towards computer literacy.
RCP was established in 2005 with Bachelor of Pharmacy course. M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutics) in 2011, M. Pharm (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) and M. Pharm (Quality Assurance) and D. Pharmacy in 2012 and Ph. D in 2011. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi, Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai, Govt. of Maharashtra and is permanently affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur. Our college is approved by UGC, New Delhi under 2(f) and 12(b). RCP aims to be a center of excellence in the field of pharmacy education and research, preparing globally competent students for leadership in their fields and to cater the human resource needs of pharmaceutical industry and healthcare needs of society. Our institute provides state of art educational surrounding for creating skilled individuals to endeavor to meet the global challenges in pharmaceutical field. RCP has strived to develop faculty and resources that instills values and encourages knowledge acquisition which will enhance socio-economic betterment of society. We have highest number of teaching faculty with Ph D degree and many more are pursing their doctoral studies. The college has vibrant IIC cell, placement cell and NSS cell etc. Equipped with the best infrastructure and sophisticated instruments has helped us to create awesome credibility in a very short span of its existence. Our aim is to imbibe the good work practices as well as research culture and professional attitude amongst the student fraternity to make them able and competent to contribute to the ultimate goal of having healthy India.
